Trump is threating to stage a Naval Blockade to stop Russia from doing business. Imagine what Trump would do if it were the other way around. Russia threating a Naval Blockade to stop our business activity? People would be screaming. Let's look at a simple fact. Our military in Alaska only has three icebreakers and Russia has about a dozen or so. We recommissioned a few air carriers in the Navy and Russia has been building new ones. They even have the newest technology in military uniforms. We are still using ones designed in the 1950's. Of course, Russia and China haven't been on a global genocidal rampage either. My point is, that if the swap called DC starts a war with Russia it's not going to end well for us here at home. I doubt we will escape any damage. Not that congress or senate are going to care. Over the last couple of days, we have seen why Trump was chosen by the elites to be president. He can take the attention off of other issues they don't want people looking at and he can make the world look at him.  All of the speeches which were written for him was delivered as desired. The irony of his speeches is he was accusing Iran of doing the very thing Washington and Pentagon have been doing.  His speeches exerted "American Authoritarianism" and of course it had the desired effect. It pissed people off. Goal accomplished. Trump is used to getting his way at every turn. It is what has made him a billionaire. The problem is very simple. Will someone please explain to John Bolton what constitutes a sovereign country? I do believe Syria qualifies. You have an independent people, freedom of voting, and they had a decent GDP. Yeah, Syria qualifies as a sovereign nation. What is really sad is that they were the only truly democratic country in the Middle East. Anyone could become a citizen and you didn't have to convert to Islam. Every citizen was protected equally. Everyone had insurance, education, and equal employment with equal pay. This was the reaction of China to the new sanctions which got put into place of the last two days. This is stupid. The idea that if a sovereign nation says no to another, they can get sanctions put on them. What to hell are we, third graders? Sanctions are stupid and they don't work. If one country doesn't want to deal with you then there is always another that will. I am so over this tick for tack game. The sanctions are meant to hurt the average family. They never hurt the industries really until the people are gone. Seriously, people, we have to make it clear that we aren't going to go along with these stupid sanctions. Last weekend we discussed the extreme poverty in this country which the United Nations is finally paying attention to. Now, we will look at the failed gender equality program Pentagon has tried to implement in Afghanistan. I came across an article on RT about how women in Afghanistan are no better off 17 years after our invasion in their country. In 2013, former President Obama announced a program which was supposed to left the women of Afghanistan up out of poverty. There was $21 million dollars or more pledged for this program. However, when confronted with a request from a lady who had ten years of sewing experience at the Sewing Center For Women in the Nangarhar Province said Mrs. Nazia. She requested equipment to run the center. The money was to "train them". She has ten years experience, she didn't need training. She needs equipment. I have no problem helping women like Mrs. Nazia. Once again Israel has attacked an ally military force. This time it was Russia. I can't believe President Putin would give them a pass. Surely he's old enough to remember USS Liberty in 1967. If you don't know about it, hang on because you are getting a crash course. The standard of living in America has dropped to a scary level. Countries like Denmark, Ukraine, and other socialist countries have a higher standard of living than we do.   Holy crap! I have said this before, I am the third generation removed from immigrant status. My great grandfather's on both sides of my family came here from other countries. One from Canada (maternal) and England on the other (paternal). I am sure they both faced more questions than people do now. If you are going to migrate from one country to another with the intent of becoming a citizen of this new country, learn their culture and language. That's not saying give up your own ancestry. Just learn to live among your new countrymen. No one should be required to learn the language of a group of immigrates. No. This should never happen. If I wanted to migrate to Russia, I would be required to learn Russian, adapt to their culture, and rightfully so.
