Tomorrow I will be 47. I use to dread birthdays because I didn't understand that they are a gift of wisdom. They are a day for us to reflect on what we have learned thus far in our lives. In just the last five years I have learned so much about the world and how it really works. I have learned how strong I am and how much I have grown as a person. And as long as we continue to get birthdays, shut and enjoy them. Here is an impromptu list of what I have learned thus far in life: 1: Karma exist so watch what you do. 2: Pets are the only perfect love. They give it no matter what. 3: Children are a gift from God. How they turn out is a gift to God. Also how they conduct themselves is a reflection of us, the parents. 4: Every life is precious. 5: There are two parties; oligarchs and proletariats. 6: Final, find what gives you joy and hang on to it.
