When was Christ actually born? There has been a debate about the actual date of his birth for generations. Yet we are no closer to knowing the answer. Let’s look at some geographic facts about the Middle East where it’s believed he would have lived.  Mary and Joesph were from the Galilee area of the Middle East. With this, it would’ve been impossible for them to have traveled to Bethlehem. The sand would have been soaked in either rain or snow on and off from October to April. So how would they have traveled? They couldn’t have traveled in this time. It would have been terrible weather for man and beast.  Now comes the question of when did the wise men find him? Was it after his birth or was it when he was two years old? I do think it’s safe to say if Joesph and Mary couldn’t have traveled, then neither would the wise men.
