As I sat last night watching the SOTU I had to ask myself "is this a speech or a mucking session"? Let me start by saying that I do agree with the One-Step legislation will get inmates who are serving stupidly long terms for non-violent drug convictions. It's stupid that people have to serve anywhere from 20 years to life sometimes for less than a gram of cocaine. I have said before we need to refocus that money to treating people on drugs and/or selling them. Get to the core reason they are engaging in this behavior. Now to make sure people start feeling guilty about those who survived the Holocaust. There was a gentleman who survived concentration camps because of the gentleman sitting next to him. Then there was a man who survived the shotting back in the fall in Philadelphia. Of course, he survived the Holocaust and the shooting.
