Rather it’s Europe itself or England via Scotland.  Eventually, the Van was dropped and like the Trump family, the name was respelled to be Roosevelt from Van Rosenvelt.  Claes was a merchant when he and his wife settled in New Amsterdam aka NYC.  The Roosevelt family got into the usual merchant fields of dry goods such as sugar and real estate.   I think just about every other week this year and last year has contained a new level of crazy. Sometimes I am overwhelmed and don’t really know what to say.   We had a lot happen this week. Barbara Feinstein died, Kevin whatever his name is was ousted from Speaker of The House position, and shit hit the fan in Isreal. AGAIN!  Feinstein.
