  How the Nazis controlled the people by controlling their sources of information.   After the Nazis came to power they realized that they needed to keep the masses on board with their plans. How? How can this be accomplished?  Before Goebbels nationalized the media there were nine papers. Some were independently owned, family-owned, and two were owned by organizations. They didn't all hold the same opinion. On October 4, 1933, Editor's Law was passed and went into effect on January 1, 1934. What was this and why should we know about it?  Editor's Law gave Joseph Goebbels complete control of the media. How?  Only those who could prove they were Aryan.
