The Confessions of an Economic Hit Man John Perkins Chapter Ten: Panama's President and Hero

In this chapter, John meets a President he would come to regard as a friend. Omar Torrijos of Panama. John goes into a brief history of Panama and how it came under America's control. I am going to do more research on Late President Omar Torrijos. Based on what John wrote about him, I look forward to learning more about him.  I am going to recommend a book that compliments the current one we are reading. Central America's Forgotten History by Aviva Chomsky. Daughter of Noam Chomsky. https://youtu.be/efDaV_yi-_I

This Week in Lunatics R Us

This week we saw the lunatic fringe come out in force. Given how the week ended, I can't wait to see how this week goes. Let's look at the events. Of course, I will leave starter links below. I hope you will use these links to "start" the thinking process. FOUR REGIONS SECEDE FROM UKRAINE This was done by election which ran from September 23 to 27. Zaporozphio, Kherson, Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics held referendums to rejoin Russia. The results were clear and the heads of these states have officially submitted their request to President Putin. Of course, he accepted. Friday it was made official. These states are once again Russian as they choose. PIPELINE Being the sore losers, NATO, EU, and UN condemned the referendums. They unanimously rejected the will of the citizens. About 24 hours prior to the request being submitted to President Putin Nord Stream 1 and 2 were attacked in a terrorist attempt to intimidate President Putin into rejecting these offi...

The New American Hypocritical Bullshit Narrative

Last week during the United Nations Annual Meeting our political puppets had the nerve to lecture Russia about sovereignty and how much America cares about it. And aggressive behavior against United Nations members. I’m calling BULLSHIT! We don’t care about the sovereignty of anyone when it interferes with what the corporate masters of America want. Like oil! They wanted more oil we invaded Iraq and Syria. Done!  America has a long history of using weapons of mass destruction. Keep in mind I can only speak about America because it’s where I’ve always lived. I know its history of using WMDs because I live with the consequences of it. I’m not alone. We used them on Japan after they surrendered to bully Stalin. Then we used them in Vietnam. In the 1980s we gave Saddam Hussien Mustard Gas. Also, ignored his use of mustard gas on his own people. Until it no longer suited Corporate America. In 2001, we invaded Afghanistan a fellow United Nations member. Then it was Iraq then Syria...

Depression Era Cuisine

With all the fuss around the crashing American (that’s where I live) economy, it’s time to coin this term: Depression Era Cuisine officially. I have no doubt this will be done by some world-known chef but who cares?  We are jumping the gun by doing this now on September 26, 2022. I will leave a list of links to my Pinterest boards I think you may find useful.  For the last six to seven months the United Nations has been warning of a potential famine. There are a few items that will be in short supply. Sriracha is one of them apparently. Yes! I will give you a link to a homemade Sriracha sauce. You’re welcome. This is just an example of one item that has become an American addiction. Like Salsa in the 1990s. Seriously though we have got to get people to see what’s in front of them before they are at our door say, “why didn’t you tell me?”.  I have been preparing for the last three years. I wish I’d been prepping for years but better late than never.  References...

School Lunch Nightmares!

To say school lunches in America are a horror show. I am talking about Rob Zombie level here. I am going to include two articles below on this issue. I will also include some easy fixes that may not require a microwave as some schools don’t have them.  First, let’s look at the articles. This first article is originally from 2013 however, it’s still relevant. The lunches Maria Godoy featured were horror show ready. Something that looks like ground beef but not really. The pizza looks awful. I can remember the pizzas I had as a kid in school, yum. Taco Surprise was terrible. I guess the surprise will be if  you don’t get sick. Dear God, it can’t get any worst!  Except it does. According to the second article details a misadventure involving raw chicken being served to kids at a school. Yeah! Hello 911 we have a problem. Was this a one time deal? NOPE! According to this article it’s an on going problem. The lunches at Soviet schools are far better than we have here....

Crazy Town

Here’s a quick update on where I’ve been. We have Antonia’s schedule settled. Also, I finally finished the pre-Winter inventory list. Yeah! I have been working on that since June and finally got the inventorying part done. Now I have to commit it to a spreadsheet. Fun! Exciting! Sarcasm aside I am also getting ready to have a dental procedure done on the thirtieth of this month.  Let’s get to the important stuff - events around the world. Thursday the Queen died. And it happens to us all eventually. However, this is being shoved down everyone’s throat rather you live in a British kingdom or not. I couldn’t care less either way. I live in America. I simply don’t care. What I do care about is how are the citizens of this kingdom going to survive the coming winter. With inflation comes hunger and unrest. Below will be a link to a study regarding the concern about civil unrest and its risk. Let’s look at the reasons for unrest real quick. Crapy pay for crapy jobs, cost of living...
