The first thing I want to cover is the SimplyNassa situation. My daughter subscribes to a channel here on You Tube. It is ran by a young girl named Vanessa. I have no I idea what she did in her past life, but she has had the worst luck of anyone I‘ve ever met. People have posted some rotten things about her and some of it has been directed toward her. My advice to Vanessa is simple: 1. Take a nice long vacation, and 2. Learn the art to telling people go fuck yourself. The next thing I want to talk about is the recent speaking engagement; three presidential candidates spoke at the engagement. Dr. Ben Carsen confused Hamas the terrorist group in the West Bank with Humus the dip. Seriously, if Dr. Carsen is going to be considered a serious candidate you need to understand two things, 1 the difference between Hamas and Humus, and 2 Israel has been our main ally in the Middle East and they should be shown a special consideration. Governor Kasich compared having a Jewish friend with having a Golden Retriever. Lastly is Donald Trump, he made the first pro-sematic statement I have ever heard in my life. Saying that Jews are naturally great negotiators. What to hell, was the GOP thinking allowing three to speak in front of a room full of people who resign in the country of our greatest ally anyway? Moving on, the last thing I want to speak about is the mass shooting on Wednesday, this was not a work place dispute. Work place disputes do not involve bombs. Neither does domestic violence. Of course, domestic violence was not even acknowledged. Either way, these two things never involve bombs. They are usually direct. Given the amount of ammo and the bombs, certain law enforcement members are looking at an ISIS or Al Qaeda inspiration. I agree with that assessment. Despite the President saying right after the Paris attack on November 13 shooting that his could never happen here. Fact is not only can it happen here, but it has. First with Pearl Harbor, in the 90’s there was an attack on the World Trade Center, the first one. Than on 9/11/01 the attack that level of two of the buildings. So yes, it can happen here.
Now let us get to the topic of Satellite vs Cable. Understand this a broadcast program lineup is what it is. ABC is not going to move Blackish up to 9:00 because you have Dish instead of Comcast. ABC, CBS, and NBC do not give a damn about what carrier you use as long as they get paid. The only difference is the channel number. As far as I am concerned, they are all over priced and over rated. The only thing I miss is not being able watch things like Alaska: The Last Frontier and the Republican Debates live. I can tweet about them as they are happening. I do not miss the insanely high bill. When you think about it not many people are home during the day to watch over priced television. Moreover, when they get home at night television is the last thing on their minds. They want dinner, bubble bath, and sleep. Of course, many people are opting to use their mobile options with their carriers. In addition, of course, individual companies like HBO has their own mobile app.
I have concluded that once I pay off my insulation cost of my AT&T system, I am going to upgrade so we can watch stuff live. No more overpriced services for me.
