There were certain references in this movie made to
departments we have, however, they had different names.
Department in Movie Actually
Department
Ministry of Love FBI,
NSA, CIA, etc.
Ministry of Peace Military
Ministry of Truth Media
Ministry of Plenty IMF,
World Bank, Free Trade
(The irony is that the media in the movie was as much
liars as they are now.)
As I watched this movie I couldn’t belief how close we
are to the brain washed zombies in this film. It was scary to see this movie
was a blockbuster in 1956. It was based loosely on the novel by George Orwell. I
personally haven’t read the book, but I will make a point of reading it. People
in 56 didn’t make the connection of how close they really were to becoming
these people featured in the movie.
The first scene that sticks out is when Winston Smith
is called in to the office of “Ministry of Love” which is the law enforcement
in the movie. When asked what he did for work he responded with “I revise history”.
Which was the truth of what he was ordered to do. That response didn’t get a
warm welcome. No more that calling the lame stream media today liars. The next
scene that caught my attention was when he walked into a shop and there was no
television.
Now keep in mind that in this hell called 1984 there
is a television on every damn block. Think about it. How long have we been
going into Wal-Mart and seeing a television? So long that I no longer pay
attention to them. I have become immune to the bullshit on them. The television
isn’t for entertainment. They inform people and spy on them. What has it been
said about our technology? It is going to spy on us. Holy shit!
The second major scene that stood out to me was the
lunch room. The men set together and the women did as well. Segregation. There
was a co-worker of Winston (Julia) who follows him to the point she makes him
paranoid. Then one day she gives him a note and they set a place to meet in
private (that isn’t easy). It was in a “forbidden” area. Now consider what we
know about agenda 21/2030. There are going to be certain areas which will be
off limits for humans. They meet there and he finds out that she meant no ill
will toward him. They keep defying the laws because they are forbidden to marry
for love. Love is not the reason people are allowed to marry. It makes people
un-manageable.
Eventually Winston went out on a limb and let his
guard down. He blindly trusted the shop keeper and then his supervisor. At one
point in his relationship with the co-worker Julia, they fall in love. Winston
gets to the point that he wants to pursue the “underground” movement to
overturn “Big Brother” (the government). Needless to say they get caught. They
get re-educated and then go to what is called room 101 also known as the rooms
of death. These are rooms where you face the one thing you fear most. For
Winston it was rats. Throughout the movie there was slogans everywhere. In the
town center there is a statue and on it there are two slogans we can clearly
see. They read “War is Peace” and “Freedom is Slavery”.
As I watched this I keep thinking about an article two
other you tubers talked about. Lisa Haven and Grindall61. The article is called
Welcome to 2030. I own nothing, have no privacy, and life has never been
better. It blew my mind. As I read it while watching this movie, it was like
the lady who wrote it had seen this movie because everything she was writing
about was in the movie. They owned nothing. Dressed alike. Had no cars, bikes,
and everyone was “happy”. Of course, the happy part was questionable. The
article and movie mirrored each other.
I hope you will take time to watch the movie (there’s
three versions). And read the article. Then ask yourself “Where do I want this
country to go?”. Do you want this country to go the direction of the movie and
article? I don’t.
Till later, Anarchy and Revolution will be our true
path back to freedom.
