Measles: The New Red Scare

My original plans for today was to take a friend (and neighbor) to have surgery on her right knee. Well, I am happy to say her daughter was able to get the day off so she could do it. At that point, I now can get some things caught up and rearranged. I am speaking of my chest freezer. It's a hot mess. I have stuff just thrown in it. It's not very big so I have to manage that space closely. Monday I found out that I am three classes from graduating from Ashford University. Major in Mass Communication and Minor in Journalism. However, I plan on focusing on Journalism. I eventually would love to work in Russia for about a decade. I have always wanted to see Nutcracker in Moscow at Christmas time. And to walk the boulevards of St. Petersburg know that Peter the Great built it out of swap to this beautiful city.  He forged a Navy in a country that didn't have many ports on it's East sections. Hope you all had a wonderful Sunday afternoon. We finally got laundry done after it got bumped twice because of bad weather. We have to walk across the parking lot to the laundry room and the parking lot was partially flooded.  This morning it was cleared up enough that I could get the laundry done. For our Sunday lunch, we had ham, white mashed potatoes, and sweet potatoes, corn, dressing and cranberry sauce. That is my daughter's favorite so it was added. I got her a cute stuffed rabbit with a Hershey Chocolate bar.  She loved it. Of course, no Easter is complete without Cadbury Eggs. I remember when they came out and I still like them. My favorite is the caramel. My daughter prefers the original. Now we also have Reese's eggs which aren't really that special when you think about. It's just the same peanut butter and chocolate cup-shaped into an egg. Over the last couple of years, I have done a lot of research on these holidays and why we really celebrate them.  W...

Yesterday the husband of a dear friend and their two boys went out looking for metal to scrape. I don't know if they found any metal but I know they found many jars for canning. Some of them are so old that they look like the ones my late Grams used. As soon as I can I will post some pics on my facebook page. I don't know much about them, so I hope someone here will know about them. This weeks schedule is going to be a little different. Four years ago on Friday, I started doing videos for YouTube.  I can't how much I have grown and changed over those four years. I started with the goal of waking people up to the forced nonsense we are subjected to by our own government. I still want to do that, but I have come to realize that you can't beat people over the head with a red pill. It has got to be gradual and at their pace. I have learned so much over these last four years. I have also rediscovered a passion I had as a teen which I am enjoying on a new level. Writing! At 13 and 14 I never dreamed that I would be writing on the scale that I do now. I didn't even know what the internet was. But here I am writing for the world to see for the sheer enjoyment of it. I second skill I had and enjoyed at one time was cooking from scratch. I enjoyed cooking at one time. Over the years though I lost touch with these things which I enjoyed. I have been on pins and needles to share this with y'all. I recently purchased a burner which is designed for canners like the pressure and water bath canners.  I was so excited the first time I used it. Lifts the canner up off of the cooking range, therefore, reducing the stress on your range. We all know that the heat that gets trapped under the regular burners can take a toll on your cook range. This burner helps to relief that heat and stress.  No! I don't know if you can use it with a gas range.
