Checking In

Alright, guys, I am starting to feel this cold lift and leave my body. Last night I sleep through the night and didn't wake up coughing until about five this morning. So I think it's safe to say I am shaking this cold.

I'm sure it would help to have a stable temperature outside. As you probably know there has been flooding in Detroit just north of us. While my heart goes out to the people who are affected by the floods and tornados, I can't help but notice all the areas being affected aren't apart of the America 2050 map. And this summer P & G are going to start shutting off power to areas which are at risk of "wildfires". 

After the "wildfires" last summer I did a bit of research on wildfires and I found that they don't pick and choose which house they will hit and which house they will leave alone. A true wildfire will take out everything in its path. A directed fire, however, will be more discriminative. Also, there were videos of lasers which could be seen very clearly picking and choosing which house to hit and which one to skip. With all that said, I am going to stop here so I can get one of my last classes before I graduate started. And so I can get back to recovering from this cold.

Reality Check

  This video is straightforward. There is no dancing around the bush. If you’re offended by profanity, don’t watch it.  Trump’s Certification Let’s start there. Who Gets To Run For Office?

  Have you ever wondered why some people in America are eligible to run for an office like the Senate or President, but others who might be more qualified are not ? I have been wondering about this. Let’s first examine the cost of running for a national office. Before we get started, let's look at what the base cost was to run for an office in 1915, right before the Federal Reserve was established.  The Senate seat was $2k up to but not exceeding $10k.  Presidential $5k to $10k. You see the difference. The average American could afford to run before the Federal Reserve was established.  The most expensive state: Texas is hands down the most expensive state.
