  For almost 18 months we have been talking about the shortages coming and the rise in the cost of food. Unfortunately, those of us saying this has been proven right. I get no joy from it because it means we also have to pay more for food. Now the USDA livestock culling we saw almost a year ago, is coming to haunt us in a major way. Restaurants that specialize in Chicken Wings are about to be hit hard. According to the article on Yahoo! News, there is a shortage of chicken wings. What to hell did think was going to happen? The chicken fairy would drop wings in restaurants everywhere. The government ordered a nationwide shutdown of restaurants except for the ones they and their donors visited as we see the Governor of California go to once last year. However, the places we go to well had to shut down off and on last year. Where does that leave us, well-rising food prices around the world, shortages, risk of famines? I would say we are SOL/JWF...   This week we saw the lunatics go from one extreme to another. First, they were going to bring our soldiers out of Afghanistan and in the next breath Biden announced Russia as a “State Security Threat”. This is so many shades of stupid. First of all, Russia has bigger things to worry about than our rigged selection show. They weren’t involved in the Solar Winds disaster. And most of all, if your toaster doesn’t work don’t blame Russia, make sure you plugged the damn thing in. What this is really about isn’t Ukraine being a part of Russia again or not. Washington DC doesn’t give a damn about Ukraine and its people. Just ask survivors of Chezck Republic from 1967 when the Soviet Union rolled into their capital in tanks. As they begged for help from the US they got nothing. It wasn’t politically productive for Washington DC to help them. The cost of food is going up like crazy. Three months ago I got a 24 pack of Dr. Pepper at Wal-Mart. I looked at it again yesterday and it went up a dollar. A Whole dollar!
