Coming Shortages

 For almost 18 months we have been talking about the shortages coming and the rise in the cost of food. Unfortunately, those of us saying this has been proven right. I get no joy from it because it means we also have to pay more for food.

Now the USDA livestock culling we saw almost a year ago, is coming to haunt us in a major way. Restaurants that specialize in Chicken Wings are about to be hit hard. According to the article on Yahoo! News, there is a shortage of chicken wings. What to hell did think was going to happen? The chicken fairy would drop wings in restaurants everywhere. The government ordered a nationwide shutdown of restaurants except for the ones they and their donors visited as we see the Governor of California go to once last year. However, the places we go to well had to shut down off and on last year. Where does that leave us, well-rising food prices around the world, shortages, risk of famines? I would say we are SOL/JWF...   This is an excellent quick read. If you don’t have ADHD, it’s a quick read. I started this book before Thanksgiving so between the holidays and every day crazy train I finally finished it. Of course, I made notes in each chapter about my thoughts. How America Angered God Lust

  We left off at Wrath. Now we will continue this list and finish it out. Sin: Lust This is the sin that nails us all. It is wanting power, pleasure, and money. Not necessarily all of these but one or all.  I grew up in the 1980s so when I think of examples of this particular sin I am reminded of Jim Baker and Jessica Hawn. He was married to Tammy and lusted after two things; money and Jessica. Their lust brought them down in the end. Tammy had her own lust for money that contributed to their downfall.  Ten Commandment:  Thou shall not commit adultery.  Virtue: Chastity Being chaste is recommended by Christ.
