Alright y’all, we are in week 3 the final week of Bake Mas.  Monday Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies I used the same recipe on a box of oatmeal as last week except I used cranberries instead of chocolate chips. And I prepped it to be frozen and baked later. This is the perfect solution for those of us who are so busy we barely have time to breathe. You can put this dough together and bake it off later.  First, prepare the dough as the directions say. Then freeze this dough you have to wrap it up in either parchment paper (or waxed) or plastic wrap. Then place it in a storage bag after you have written on the bag what it is and the date you placed in the freezer. It helps to write on the bag the temp and time to bake the cookies. Through the year of 2019, we have seen major multi-million dollar companies go under. Just the last three months we seen Forever 21 go under. Then in early December, a major Trucking company Celadon closed their doors leaving truckers out on the road stranded. Now U.S. Steel is going under.   The Great Lakes Workers facility won’t officially close until April 1, 2020. There’s a terrible April Fool’s joke. U.S. Steel sent a voicemail to the mayor Michael Bowdler, of River Rouge. A town that sits on the Detroit River just south of Detroit. Another company abanding Michigan. Needless to say Michigan will have over 1,200 people out of work officially in April. The Trucking company I mentioned above left 4,000 people without a job out of the blue to some of them. Let’s look at some geographic facts about the Middle East where it’s believed he would have lived.  Mary and Joesph were from the Galilee area of the Middle East. After WW I, the soldiers who served under the “selective service” were promised compensation from the back wages they would have earned had they not been chosen for “selective service”. The stipulation was they wouldn’t get anything until 1941. Congress and Senate signed this bill betting that the soldiers would not be alive then. Therefore, nothing would be paid out. Okay, y'all we are a week closer to Christmas and in the last week of Bake Mas 2019. Here is the basic plan. Monday-Cranberry Oatmeal Cookie Tuesday-Fudge both Chocolate and Peanut Butter and I'm going to share what makes the peanut butter one so good. Wednesday-Old Fashion Cake Doughnuts Thursday-Apple and Cherry Hand Pies. These will be similar to the commercial brand of individual pies. Friday-Chocolate and Peanut Butter Muffins. These you could hold back and use them for a breakfast. Then we will assemble the items and get them ready to be distributed. After that, we will start the Christmas push.
