Through the year of 2019, we have seen major multi-million dollar companies go under. Just the last three months we seen Forever 21 go under. Then in early December, a major Trucking company Celadon closed their doors leaving truckers out on the road stranded. Now U.S. Steel is going under.
The Great Lakes Workers facility won’t officially close until April 1, 2020. There’s a terrible April Fool’s joke. U.S. Steel sent a voicemail to the mayor Michael Bowdler, of River Rouge. A town that sits on the Detroit River just south of Detroit. Another company abanding Michigan. Needless to say Michigan will have over 1,200 people out of work officially in April. The Trucking company I mentioned above left 4,000 people without a job out of the blue to some of them. There were a thousand office employees and three thousand truckers.
Also, stores like Dollar General, Family Dollar and Fred’s are going to start cutting back on purchasing and staff. These are the most affordable stores you can go to. If they are cutting back in January, what does that say about the economy? Someone, please explain how these tariffs are supposed to be helping us and hurting the Chinese? According to the article Sleeping dragon no more: China about to replace US as strongest naval power and Washington is too late to stop it, I found on RT.com, China is replacing the US as a military Powerhouse. As is Russia as well. They have been innovating their military supplies such as gear that is worn and vehicles. Russia has a hypersonic missile for crying out loud. They could launch it from Cuba and be on the beach by the time we figure out what happened. Think about this people. They can level our government buildings in Washington DC and we wouldn’t know anything except Iran did it.
