Over the last two or so decades we have been seeing our society devaluing life. With our abortion on demand and guns available to gang members via government sources. The smut, garbage, and violence have contributed to the devaluing of life.
1 Peter 1: 18-19 talks of us being not from perishables like silver and gold, but of the precious blood of Jesus Christ the Holy Son of God. We are to treat each other as such. I got watching John from The Prepared Mind and he mentioned that the shooter in El Paso was the son of a psychologist which had worked with the CIA MK Ultra program on brainwashing. Then it hit me, this is where people are being taught to devalue life, Television. This is the source of values our kids are being taught, television.
What our kids are seeing is impacting them. As I type this my daughter and I are watching Riverdale. I had never seen before. I had seen trailers for it. It's not as bad as you might think if you take out the inbreeding by two characters which didn't know they were cousins, a gay character with an obsession with hookups in a forest with a serial killer on the loose. Let's not forget teen sex. Yeah, these are the morals I want my daughter having. Then you have a father killing his son because the son didn't want to take over a family business. Granted this Riverdale is one mystery after another. Kind of like Scooby-Doo.
Anyway, if we are to take our families back, we must take back the value of human life. We must start valuing human life by refraining from violence and make it clear that there is nothing more precious than human life. We are of Christ and it's time to act like it.
