You read that right… But first, Trump has decided he would hold the G7 Summit here in America next to the Coronavirus. This is a decision he made on his own and consulted no one. No! Politicians don’t do anything until their money masters tell them to. Not only that but he lashed out at scientists who disagrees with him. Here is the deal, no two people will agree on everything. It’s a fact. Frankly, I am not taking medical advice from a hedge fund manager. It’s not happening. Nor will I take investing advice from a mechanic.
Back to the title, over the last two weeks we have heard Steve Munchin say “stimulus checks are in the mail.” Really! Actually, it’s going to be on a debit card. Here is the problem, if you don’t spend it the way they think you should, they will be able to take back. This is a government who can’t even keep track openly of the funds our tax dollars go to, with the defense department. Yes! I am one of those who believe in complete transparency with the government. It could keep them honest. Which is why we are in the disaster we are in now. We didn’t stay on the ball, now there is no way of getting control back.
Trump administration is warming up to more stimulus aide. But wait, they are going to cut extended unemployment at the end of July. Because it’s going to be replaced with a guaranteed income. I don’t care what they call it. It is a basic income. Plain and simple. There are those who would say no to this idea without hearing any evidence of its merits. The argument I hear all the time is why encourage people to stay home and not work. Well let’s look at Denmark since we always here the ‘weren’t Denmark’ reaction. The Danish work five days a week on a schedule that works for their situation without fear of losing their insurance. Also, if they need to take time to update their skills or learn new ones, they are free to do so. Maternity leave can be up to a year for each parent. Again, without the fear of losing their job. Yes, they pay what seems to be high taxes, however, they benefit directly from those taxes in education, cradle to grave insurance, and home. What do we get? Taxed out the ass far more so than the Danish when you add up the taxes on things which are essential. This of course, excludes alcohol and cigarettes. They aren’t essential to life existing. So once we add up the taxes paid out, we actually pay far more taxes than the Danish and get even less in return. Our public schools are a disaster, roads are like driving on cheese graders, obviously, our dams are going to hell in a handbasket. Denmark is beautifully maintained. Our water is full of toxins like fluoride which isn’t good for us or the water control folks wouldn’t need to suit up to pore it into the water.
