I am so excited to share this recipe with y’all. These are pickles my late mom used to make when I was growing up. This is an updated version of the recipe. Her’s was out an old Ball book. Have you ever wondered why some people in America are eligible to run for an office like the Senate or President, but others who might be more qualified are not ? I have been wondering about this. Let’s first examine the cost of running for a national office. Before we get started, let's look at what the base cost was to run for an office in 1915, right before the Federal Reserve was established. The Senate seat was $2k up to but not exceeding $10k.
