The government yelled fire and we ran in the direction we were told to. A year later, we realized they lied. No way around that, we were lied to once again by the government.   Here we go again. Our supply chain is being hijacked. It’s not going to end well for us. There’s going to be major inflation and shrinkflation. What to hell is shrinkflation? That is when the packages are shrunk down. So instead of getting a full sixteen-ounce jar of pasta sauce, you get maybe fourteen ounces at the same price.  Stores across the country are warning their customers that prices will be going up. Even companies are warning the public prices on their items will be going up. According to Mrs. Kay at Business Insider General Mills is one of those companies. Let’s look at how many companies they own, I am not being mean and picking on General Mills. I am just showing how this announcement affects us overall.   I am so excited. Never in my life did I think I would be able to water bath can, never mind pressure canning. For most of my life, I was terrified of pressure cookers. I had no idea there were pressure canners. I owe this to my Insta Pot. It's a pressure cooker. It helped me conquer that fear. For my three-year anniversary, I am going to review basic safety, and I will share books that have helped me through the canning process.  Over the three years, I have gained a level of confidence in my ability to put food on the table no matter what. Canning, especially pressure canning, is a much-needed skill. It requires organizational skills, time management skills. If you don't have these right now, don't sweat it. You will develop them.   Over the weekend there was another hack. This time on JBS ( José Batista Sobrinho) out of Brazil is one of the largest beef has been “hacked”.   Let’s look at Trump’s recent bout of insanity. I will include some articles on this matter. I feel like we should have mental health specialists instead but they were busy laughing. Trump has said he believes that he’ll be reinstated as president by August. Okay, take a minute to laugh and pull yourself together. I read these articles and thought about all the people who have the IQ of roadkill armed to the teeth reading this and the trouble that will ensue when that doesn’t happen.  People think the choreographed circle jerk from January was an insurrection, just wait to see what happens when Trump isn’t reinstated. That is unless Uncle Alex can calm them down. Of course, that’s not his strong point.  The only government structures where someone can be reinstated even against the will of people are communists.
