Here we go again. Our supply chain is being hijacked. It’s not going to end well for us. There’s going to be major inflation and shrinkflation. What to hell is shrinkflation? That is when the packages are shrunk down. So instead of getting a full sixteen-ounce jar of pasta sauce, you get maybe fourteen ounces at the same price.
Stores across the country are warning their customers that prices will be going up. Even companies are warning the public prices on their items will be going up. According to Mrs. Kay at Business Insider General Mills is one of those companies. Let’s look at how many companies they own, I am not being mean and picking on General Mills. I am just showing how this announcement affects us overall. Mr. Ken Boyd at Investopedia laid out a great outline with his article last in May showing how many companies General Mills now owns. They have a line of everything from cereal to pet food. Now when all of these items go up at once, you and I will be making some hard choices.
Now let’s look at the water situation in California. Talk about a scam, wow. They are really pulling a fast one with the citizens. While all the ‘authoritative’ sources are screaming drought, the fact is that is impossible. How do you have a drought with a whole ocean next to you? Crank up the desalinators and let them rip. Deborah Tavares has lived in California all of her life. She and her husband had a construction company in Los Angeles for years. Since retiring she has been on a quest to research trends they witnessed which changed a lot of what they were able to do and not do. From building size to water consumption.
There is a panic being caused over the effects of climate change and the world harvest. This is being done on purpose. You and I are going to feel the effects. And people like us around the world. Crops being left in the fields to rot. Genius! Why didn’t I think of that? There are some that are being abandoned for crops that use less water. I don’t understand why they even bothered to plant the ones which require large amounts of water, to begin with. It would have made more sense to plant larger amounts of those requiring little water.
