1.6. Technological Reset
Once again they made a great point about the prevalence of diseases. They come and go. That is how diseases work. Unless they are created in a lab. It's ironic that Klaus Schwab wrote a book in 2016 about the Fourth Industrial Revolution. I haven't read it because I didn't know about it until a year ago. However, I am looking forward to reading and sharing it with y'all.
In this section, they talked about the gnome of diseases. How can you know the gnome (RNA and DNA) of a disease if you didn't create it? You can't. These things have to be created by man in order for man to know it’s a gnome. This brings me to the issue of the bio labs one particularly in Maryland and the lab we own in Wuhan China.
1.6.1. Accelerating the digital transformation
In 2020, we experienced a side of technology that we never thought possible. Remote learning, working and advancing technology. This was very present in hospitals and doctor’s offices across America. I can only speak for America. The upside of not having to go into a doctor's office is the annoying weight check…. That I didn't miss at all. While I do agree that artificial intelligence has crept its way into everyone's life, I see a need to keep it at a distance. Kids should worry about angering their parents not having their phones die on them.
1.6.1.1. The consumer
As above, we were forced to adapt to the electronic push. They used the words greener and cheaper multiple times. In other words, you and I should stay home so they can go out with their fuel-guzzling jets.
1.6.1.2. The regulator
When I think of a regulator I think big brother. It's true enough that certain regulations were loosened last year to get stuff out to us the peasants to keep us home and happy.
The e-appointments with doctors had an upside. No scale. I will always prefer person-to-person visits. That's just the way I roll. However, when it comes to produce, meat, and prepared meals, I don't want anyone else handling the food I will eat. I guess I'm too much of a control freak to let someone else do my shopping.
1.6.1.3. The firm
After reading this, I was nauseous. They are about AI becoming the dominant form of labor. So the AI is going to outpace humans on the floor of a warehouse. I can understand the appeal. When you think about the drama humans cause I can understand the desire to replace them with robots. I am reminded of an article I read a couple of years ago called Welcome to 2030! By the World Economic Forum. The author stated she owned nothing and couldn't be happier. This seems to be the path we are being pushed toward. Malleret and Schwab spoke about how people will be willing to keep a distance between themselves and others out of fear of some virus. The way they talk is as if they expect COVID-19 to be around forever. News flash; there's been coronaviruses forever. They are as old as the earth itself. This fearmongering that's been done over the last year is stupid.
1.6.2. Contract tracing, contact tracking, and surveillance
This section started out exactly the way I figured it would. They tout the glory of hardcore lockdowns without really discussing the cons of it. Suicide is one of the biggest cons of the lockdowns. China wielded its citizens inside their apartments for crying out loud. Tracking and surveillance are just fancy words for 'we don't trust you'.
They talk about apps that track our movements during a 'pandemic'. If there were to be an actual pandemic trust we would've already had been tracked. Oh wait a minute, we Americans already are tracked by the NSA (National Security Agency) as Edward Snowden revealed. We all know how he got thanked. Now, these lunatics are suggesting not only a tracking app on every phone across the world but obligating us to buy a new Bluetooth phone every time they say our phone is outdated. For giggles, they will make information available through an open-source program so it's not centralized. That means our information will be open as well. Social Security number, financial, even medical records. The only difference, governments around the world will have access to our information, not just our government. Of course, all this is for our own good. That's how they closed this section out.
1.6.3. The risk of dystopia
They start out by making a great point. People are always going to be concerned about their rights being respected. They are still under the illusion we have 'God-given rights' by the constitution. At the same point, they forget that man created the constitution, not God. And when the government wants they can take those 'God-given rights’. Nowadays you just have to disagree or have a different opinion than what's acceptable to have. Governments across history have gotten citizens to give up liberties. Never is it written they gave the liberties back. The patriot act which was passed in 2001 unanimously by Congress and Senate after a 'terrorist' attack on 9/11 and then 'anthrax' laced letters were sent to members of Congress and Senate sealed the deal for the patriot act to pass. We were scared out of our liberties after that. Of course, there were the horrors Bin Laden was doing in Afghanistan to women and children. That was the bad man who did 9/11 with a satellite phone and internet. We weren't told about his connection to the CIA for years. No. The government and its propaganda, oh wait a minute, evening news made sure we were on board and if you weren't with us then you were against us. Yeah! Looking back I'm appalled by how gullible and stupid I was to believe all that hogwash.
That started our fall into the 1984 hell which we are seeing intensify is coming to fruition as planned. These guys talk about caring about liberties. They don't. They couldn't care less about us or 'God-given rights'. Millaret and Schwab only care about money and their bottom line. Speaking of bottom lines, we will be manipulated into demanding this level of surveillance. The pathetic part is that we will demand to be surveilled 24/7.
