I took time today to make some updates to my page. From here on, this page will be called Political Atheist. Exactly what is this? And why? What brought me to this point?
Being a Political Atheist is a gift from God. I have watched many forms of the American presidency come and go. I have noticed that each one does just enough to seem different. Nothing to threaten the real power structure. You know, the owners of the big businesses. Yet, they kept the minions, you and me, at each other’s throats. Here is a list of reasons I will remain a political atheist.
It allows me to step back and smell the heaping stack of bullshit in front of me.
I can see a scam coming from a direction and know instantly which direction to go.
I know when to pop popcorn and grab a drink to enjoy the chaos from a safe distance.
I am completely unfazed by the bullshit that has most people spinning their wheels in quicksand.
It has allowed me to return to the point that I can openly say, ‘frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn.’
I am neither shocked nor surprised by anything that comes my way.
With those reasons, will you have the courage to “Face the man in the mirror.” (Michael Jackson) Or will you continue choking the same bullshit down day after day with the same results?
