The title is a little misleading. I got the complete nine seasons of Roseanne. The show covered everything over its nine years. Racism to Gay marriage. As a matter of fact, Roseanne was one of the first shows on who featured a gay wedding. They tackled Domestic Violence as an issue when no one else would touch it.
Now twenty years later the show was brought back and the ratings went through the roof. ABC desperately needed it. However, once the rating was up, Roseanne was thrown under the bus. Yes, she sent out a tweet that wasn't very nice. But that is Roseanne and she is right about the person. Valerie J does look like a monkey. Look at the bone structure of her face. Personally, I think if the execs had taken Roseanne aside and made clear this is unacceptable. No one remembers Jarrett and those under 15 don't know who she is.
Now ABC is considering a spin-off of Roseanne called The Conners. NO! I won't watch it and I will consider boycotting ABC. The Conners will always be Roseanne and Dan. Roseanne Barr and John Goodman.
