I am not talking about an empty stomach. I am talking about spiritual emptiness.
About four years ago I went through a hard time and the god I had believed in all my life never answered me. Regardless of what I tried. I came to the observation that there is no god. Okay! I lost my mom in 2013 and later that year the father of my daughter became an abusive alcoholic. Only toward me. I ended things before our daughter was harmed.
Now I had no idea the rabbit hole I would go down. When I realized I was wrong and all I had been told was wrong. As a kid, I use to ask my dad why we went to church on the first day of the week when God said the seventh day was to be set aside for him. Saturday is the seventh day.
I had no idea that it was Pope Clement and Emporer Constantine who change it. They did this so the people would except Christianity. Emporer knew people wouldn't accept Christianity if they had to lose their Pagan holidays.
This brings us to the empty spiritual stomach. What do you do about it? Personally, I get a bible and just open it. Whatever verse(s) speak to me I read.
