I found out today that there is actually a Go Fund Me campaign to raise funds for the wall between us and Mexico. I was shocked and that doesn't happen very often.
I couldn't believe that there is actually a Go Fund Me for this. I had heard about with Lionel Nation, but I thought maybe was more tired than I realized. But no. Think about the money we have given countries around the world who have nuclear programs. If you can afford a nuclear program, you don't need foreign aid. The money we have wasted in Afghanistan alone could have paid for 8 walls.
I wonder if the East Germans were asked to pay for their imprisonment? No! I found a piece of propaganda which was used to sell the people on the wall being a great idea. See the links below, it's in German. Do you remember how Trump was selling his wall? Yeah! To "protect" us from bad guys from Mexico and her southern neighbors.
It's the same thing different generation. The outcome will be the same. So the next time you see someone saying, let's build a wall, hand them a hammer, bag of concrete, and move out of their way. Me, I see this wall for what it will be, a disaster.
