This is bases on Mathew 23:23 and Mark 15. I often wonder if the Pharisees cursed future generations of those who would practice Judaism by their role in the crucifixion of Christ. Remember, Pilot thought Christ was only guilty of being deluded. In modern terms, Christ was just another mental patient off their meds. That was Pilot's overall assessment of Christ.
