It's finally Friday! I couldn't be happier.
Over the last couple of months, I have been struggling with the financial burden of a car that was in desperate of major brake work. Problem: It's expensive. Seriously y'all. I tried over and over to figure in the cost of doing my brakes one at a time mind you, into my budget. Problem: nobody does one brake at a time. You have to do two at a time. Selling my car wasn't an easy decision. I didn't just wake up one day and say "she's gotta go". No, it wasn't like that at all.
History of the car. In 2011 the old car I had fallen apart. It was time for a newer car without a great credit rating. My late mom tasked her brother who has since passed, with finding me a reliable car. Yeah! My relationship with my late mother was complicated and this isn't the time to get into it. Three days later he had a car lined up with someone he knew. I liked the car. One problem, I had gone through bankruptcy and a repossession of a Dodge Durango. As you can see I didn't have great credit. To purchase the car required 3k down. My mom had to pull every resource possible. Her brother loaned us 2k against the ex's tax return.
Now that you know the history of my purchasing the car and why it wasn't an easy decision to sell her. I tried to sell her on my own and that plan failed. When I put the task on God's Plate, the deal went through and worked out perfect. The couple who bought the car for their son bought my late uncle's last car. The lady was a close friend of my cousin's daughter. I prayed Monday before they arrived that this would be a blessing to both them and myself.
So when you have a task, let God lead you. Trust his plan will work.
