Personal Reset
Right off the bat, they blame the scam-demic for the isolation of many across the world. WRONG! It's governments who are to blame for the situation we (you and I) are living through. We're going into two years in January. People across the globe are waking up and getting angry. There's been protests in England, Australia, and France just to name three countries. America not so much. As long as we can juggle part-time jobs so they can struggle to make ends meet they are happy. Right!
3.1 Redefining our humanness
3.1.1. The better angels in our nature...or not.
In this section, they bitch and moan like little children about those in each nation's citizens bonding together. Those who showed contempt toward the leaders and wealthy, turning the direction they should turn; Jesus. (Celebrities found out how irrelevant they really are.) The Holy Son of God our Father in Heaven. Klaus Schwab and Thierry Malleret speak with such disgust about that fact. Humans naturally turn to a higher power, God, Buddha, or whatever it be for them. That's where you will turn. No scholarly jerk is going to change it. Not now. Not ever. People of a nation will always turn to each other to engage and even comfort. That is until the governments and their propaganda machines get everyone to wind up. Then all the caring goes away.
3.1.2. Moral choices
The subtitle sounds nice. The above section talked about how we should let the 'leaders' and 'policy makers' decide how to deal with the situation. No! For one simple reason: they caused the problem. Was that the utilitarian moral choice they made. Well, I don't know about you, but I am not impressed. Is it a good moral choice to tell people who is and isn't essential? How about telling people that they shouldn't talk to anyone on the street? Even better, tell people you can't go to work and earn a living, but you still have to pay your own bills? I say no. If the actions above are considered utilitarian morality then I will keep morals that Jesus Christ left behind. You know, treat others as you want to be treated. Well in a single sentence.
At the end of the day, politicians are the puppets of an elite few. If they cared about their citizens they never would've allowed this whole scam to begin. I don't call lying to citizens a 'good moral choice'. Scaring citizens just doesn't sound like a good moral decision. Or maybe it's just me. They did eventually make a great point about the price of items that the average person needs should be fair and reasonably priced. That I do agree with. However, that's Socialism and well America isn't a Socialist country. We've become a fascist nation corporation.
3.2. Mental health and well-being
After 2020 scam-demic lockdowns and voluntary isolation it became clear this course of action was nothing short of barbaric. I have no doubt Genghis Khan is in hell clapping his hands. Governments across the world have inflicted a horrible sentences on citizens that did nothing wrong.
I do agree with the specialist referred to in this book; humans are social beings. The interaction between us is what sustains us. It keeps us going. I wonder if we will ever see the numbers of those who've committed suicide because of the barbaric lockdowns. How many people have been killed by their spouses? I doubt we will ever get a set number for those.
3.3. Changing priorities
Last year we saw a lot of things most of us thought we'd never see. The last pandemic I experienced in my lifetime was the pandemic called HIV/AIDS. I don't recall any country shutting down like we did last year. It has a 100% mortality rate. Meaning everyone who gets one will eventually get the other which will cause their death. COVID-19 hasn't had anywhere near the death toll of HIV/AIDS. Coronaviruses have been around far longer than HIV/AIDS. Coronaviruses have a 1% mortality rate. This means one out of a hundred people who get a coronavirus will die from it. Excluding those with health issues like heart disease. I am talking about people who are healthy.
As for changing priorities, my daughter's well-being has always been my number one priority. That will never change. COVID-19 didn't change the way I live my life. I refuse to change the way I live at the snap of a government's fingers. Nor will I hate citizens of a named country just because the government says I should.
3.3.1. Creativity
They talked about how Issac Newton thrived during the plague. Excuse me, I don't remember reading about nations shutting down every aspect of life then…
Here we are a year later and many lessons have indeed been learned. I would say for the ultra-elite oligarchs, without us you don't have anything. This lesson has been learned by the peasants as well. They learned how their oligarch money masters see them. Some are essential and some aren't. Farmers learned how little value they held to the government when schools and restaurants were open for pick up and delivery services only. Many small businesses closed for good. However, some found creative outlets which lead to new business ventures. Some couples have learned how to live on one income. Some by choice and some from necessity. Others had long ago embraced the frugality of living on one income. And they are making it work. Of course, this past summer Frito To Lay had an employee die on the line. Without thought or haste, another employee was pulled into that slot. When the shift was over 911 was finally called. It was too late. In the name of profit, an American citizen died on the clock. Instead of calling 911 and halting production, the dying man was replaced immediately. This should speak volumes about how we are viewed in the eyes of the real owners of this country.
Over this month we saw 'The Great Resignation'. What was this? It was when the peasants reached the end of their ropes with the direction the ruling elites are taking things. People are leaving their employment for a variety of reasons. I would love for everyone to walk out and leave the oligarchs holding the bags.
3.3.2. Time
Last year went by slowly. Why? We spent three to six months locked down in their homes. In solitary confinement, time drags by. This is why solitary confinement has been deemed to be cruel and inhumane treatment. It wears the person out mentally and causes serious consequences. The consequences aren't just for the person to deal with, but society as a whole must contend with.
We as individuals learned a great deal. Things like how much of the family was being missed out on by the parents. They learned that the teachers knew their children better than they did. They also realized that they have this room in their house that they rarely used. The Kitchen… 🤯
Yeah! Last year people realized that they didn't know how to really cook. How can they cook when they are rarely home. Most people didn't even know what those things in that room were for. I have no doubt there were those who got overwhelmed by this mysterious room. By the end of 2020, they knew how to cook from scratch and even bake. I am proud of those who found a balance between their skills. A husband that's good at cooking and a wife that's good at baking. There were those who made this balance a permanent part of their household chores.
3.3.3. Consumption
Have you ever heard of 'Revenge Consumption'? According to the folks who wrote this wonderful book, it is when people purchase items that they haven't been able to purchase. I personally don't know anyone who can do this. However, the hypothesis proposed here was that once lockdowns were over, people would go on hasty shopping sprees because they hadn't been able to really relax and walk around a store. Keep in mind that Black Friday shopping in 2020 was an epic failure compared to 2019. I don't have high hopes for this year. A lot of people did use the store sites to have items delivered either to a store or their home. My shopping habits didn't change because of a stupid government scam.
I used Amazon and Walmart sites to have stuff delivered to me. Just like 2019. I do agree that we need to move more toward mindful spending habits. I won't lecture anyone on this, but I will let you know when I achieve it. I do enjoy going to thrift stores like Salvation Army and GoodWill. Also, Habitat for Humanity always has stuff. Look in your area to see what thrift stores are around you. The next time you need something, go to them. You never know what you'll find.
3.3.4. Nature and well-being
I will be the first to admit we need to become better stewards of the earth. Our Father in Heaven gave us this one earth to care for. Look at what we've done. It's disgraceful. Shopping malls, mini-malls, golf courses, cheesy overpriced car lots, and a Walmart in every town. We are truly a vile disgrace. Then you got the government buildings, 501.c3 churches. Those and the schools are nothing but indoctrinating centers of the government. Absolutely disgusting! Don't get me going on the private jets that are doing more harm than any car we drive.
In the end, you and I must start making choices that are better for the earth. Cut down on plastic. Try to use items that can be used multiple times. This is something that the Soviet Union did with success. I don't know if this would work here. Perhaps learning how to make what we need would be a desirable path. I can say making things like mayo and mustard would remove a lot of plastic from the landfills.
Conclusion
Finally! We are finally at the end of this book. We have covered a lot of information. I stand by my original assessment of this book. There's no way they wrote it in six months. It's just too detailed for six months. No. It was written ahead of time. Everything they predicted played out. Once you set back and see this, you're going to understand my assessment.
In the last four months, Dr. Faucci has been caught lying about the research that was really going on in the Wuhan lab owned by our government. It's come out that the National Institute for Health was experimenting with viruses and how they would affect species when transferred from one to the other. Am I surprised? No. Not in the least.
