This Week In The Nut Hut

 I feel like this is going to become a regular feature here. Over the last, we saw YouTube demonetization of channels with content creators based in Russia. WTF!!! They work just as hard to put together quality content as any other creator. No, they aren't doing stupid stunts or eating an insane amount of food, or having meltdowns on their kitchen floor. No! They aren't fighting with their spouses either. But because they are based in Russia they don't deserve to be monetized. 

Metavirus (Facebook and Instagram) have decided that it's okay to post hate speech and encourage violence against Russians. Yeah! You can't call out a pedophile but you can call for a gangland attack on someone who is Russian. Hypocrites! Hypocrisy has become an American value these days. It's absolutely insane. There's been chatter about Russia being supposed to separate the intranet. It hasn't happened yet. Will they? I don't know. I certainly hope not. I enjoy Sergei from Real Russia and Val from Different Russia. 

Now let's move on to inflation and rising prices. This past week Biden came out and actually said the inflation and rising prices we are seeing are Russia's fault. How? They have absolutely no control over what we charge for stuff. This is stupid. I wish I could say I am surprised but I am not. I don't think this will be the most foolish thing Biden will do this year alone. Keep in mind I don't have high standards for politicians to start with. 

Over the week we also saw the first domino effect of stupid, Russian oil imports were stopped. No back plan. Other than Venezuela. You know the country we sanctioned into poverty. Yeah! Apparently, these arrogant politicians actually believe that Venezuela will be moved by the lifting of sanctions and that they will break up with President Putin and go back to an abusive relationship with America. WTF???? Here's what I see possibly happening; 1) Venezuela agrees to sell US oil in exchange for the return of their gold. Or and more likely, 2) tell DC to kiss their asses and get other Latin American countries to cooperate with Russia. It would be their only way to get out from underneath America's thumb. No country should be forced to live hand to mouth every day. Nor should one nation have the power to do this to another.
