I am happy to say that SBP was able to pay his mortgage for this month. Now his home has serious damage because of hurricane Laura. And the insurance company is busy figuring out how to screw him out of as much coverage as possible. This means he will have to pay for a professional tarping of his roof himself and possibly pay for the repairs because it's wind damage and they don't cover that.
Let me say this to those insurance companies and to those who price gouge, there is a special place in hell for you.. I say this as someone who has to have the damage repaired on my dime because it wasn't enough for the insurance company to cover and a company who can out to give an estimate jacked up their price from $300 to $400 way up to $1600. Yeah!
I didn't mean to ignore this site. I have been busy with the government shutdown, and I have to say, what a freak show. Let's break this down: 1. There is a budget. Once it's clear that we won't tolerate the freak show any longer, the budget will be put in front of us. Of course, it won't have an accurate date. The date it was actually signed. 2. What are we currently focused on? The shutdown. We are looking at the fact that Israel is attacking Iran, again, for having the very same thing they have: nuclear weapons. We also have nuclear weapons in America. We also have a nasty habit of using weapons of mass destruction. Dioxin was used in Vietnam; it was later called Agent Orange. 3. We are no longer demanding the release of the Epstein and Maxwell files.
