Easter Day!

Hope you had a wonderful Easter. Everyone survived no ER visits for any reason. The annoying relative annoyed everyone but you. Perhaps it's the wine or you were able to avoid them. Either way, they are gone and you won't have to see them till the next holiday when someone else cooks in their home because you've met your obligation for the year. 


Now you have all this ham. There are so many possibilities for it. Sliders, sandwiches, or casseroles. Salads go without saying. This is where Pinterest is a God-sent. So many ways to use that ham. Of course, these recipes will work with any meat you have leftover. 


Soups, salads, sandwiches and sliders are the usual favorites. Given the rising cost of food (and everything else) you going to want to pull every piece of meat off of the bone. Casseroles come to mind.

Who Gets To Run For Office?

  Have you ever wondered why some people in America are eligible to run for an office like the Senate or President, but others who might be more qualified are not ? I have been wondering about this. Let’s first examine the cost of running for a national office. Before we get started, let's look at what the base cost was to run for an office in 1915, right before the Federal Reserve was established.  The Senate seat was $2k up to but not exceeding $10k.  Presidential $5k to $10k. You see the difference. The average American could afford to run before the Federal Reserve was established.  The most expensive state: Texas is hands down the most expensive state.
