The next three chapters are short. Good! I am ready to move on to the next book. Social services are the focus of this chapter. I can say this chapter has been well taught. Edward Bernays would be proud of the current generation of propagandists. They can sell anything from gum to war.
Humanitarian aid and corridors are currently what's being sold for victims of the conflict between NATO/US and Russia. Of course, there's a push-pull aspect of propaganda. One report will have NATO/US as the ones delivering humanitarian aid. Another report says the opposite. Then we have European Union members fighting to allow refugees from Eastern Europe into Europe. Never mind that they are contributing to the problem. That's not a part of the social service via propaganda.
Like campaigns of the past, only the problem was talked about. Not those causing the problems or those suffering. Not an actual human term anyway. Take your pick of social dilemmas that have been propagandized, slavery, the Holocaust, or the current crisis in Eastern Europe. There's a lot of social service via propaganda without much action or solution.
