Make Life Easier

Lately, I have been looking at things which could make my life a lot easier so I can blog more often. My blogging has been hit or misses over the last year. I get caught up with events and I completely forget to blog.
So things I'm trying out to make life easier:
Make a two-week meal plan for dinner only. I try to sit down with my daughter whose 15 and getting ready to take her permit test over the summer.
Schedule make your own take-out meals. Eating out is expensive. However, putting together a mock meal is easy.
Keep a pantry stocked so I don't have to go out to a store very often. I oaky, we live in Southeast Michigan now and we had a few days which getting out and walking our dog was next to impossible never mind trying to drive. So I found keeping our pantry full of the essential items has not only made things easier, but it has saved us a bit of money.
Search Pinterest. There are so many wonderful recipes on it and I am trying to incorporate them into our meal rotation. Y'all this is no joke, we seriously had potato bowls at least twelve times back in November. We went through six boxes of instant potatoes in that month alone. So, enough of the same old stuff.
I have set up some folders with recipes from Pinterest to try and I write on them when we use them. Of course, if we don't like them, they go to the garbage.
Eat out of the fridge. Or better known as leftovers. I schedule this every two or three days. This way we eat what is cooked and we don't end up with experiments. We all get these experiments when stuff stays in the fridge too long.
Okay what do y'all do to make daily life easier for yourselves, please share..

UN Legitimate and Two Illegitimate Speakers

This was a freakshow of a week…. I actually did a whole layout here and accidentally deleted it. OMG. I realize this week was crazy, but holy shit! This is what it did. So here’s a quick recap before I have a completely psychotic break.  Trump entered the UN building with the same level of disaster he entered the world with. The safety feature that will prevent someone carrying a ‘nasty surprise’ from entering the top level of the escalator. That still leaves the elevators. The teleprompter stopped working. That was it, there’s a conspiracy. He did what any brain-dead American would do: whine and bitch. His almost hour-long tirade ended by telling other nations they will go to hell. I guess there will be a family reunion.  Netanyahu went to speak, and it’s a good thing that there were influencers paid to be there; otherwise, why on earth would anybody subject themselves to Netanyahu’s incoherent nonsense after Trump is beyond me. Netenhahu finished last week by threatening Chi...

Who is Ahmed al-Sharaa?

Ahmed was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Wait! What was that???? Born in Saudi Arabia…. How the hell did he get to be president of Syria? A country that he isn’t even a citizen of? That is as insane as Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announcing he is going to be the president of America. Actually, I would welcome that. Since he is obviously smarter than any American Political puppet. At least we would be able to have our Christian values protected. There wouldn’t be an abortion clinic on every city block. And the sexualization of children would come to a dead stop. Veterans would be better cared for under Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. However, that will never happen, but I think you get how insane that is. I found that you have to be a natural-born citizen of Syria to be president of Syria.  Ahmed al-Sharaa was a member of Al Qaeda. You remember the pack of terrorists who attacked us on 9/11/. My question is, why is Al-Qaeda allowed to exist if they were involved in 9/11? ...

Feeling Ignored

I didn't mean to ignore this site. I have been busy with the government shutdown, and I have to say, what a freak show. Let's break this down: 1. There is a budget. Once it's clear that we won't tolerate the freak show any longer, the budget will be put in front of us. Of course, it won't have an accurate date. The date it was actually signed.  2. What are we currently focused on? The shutdown. We are looking at the fact that Israel is attacking Iran, again, for having the very same thing they have: nuclear weapons. We also have nuclear weapons in America. We also have a nasty habit of using weapons of mass destruction. Dioxin was used in Vietnam; it was later called Agent Orange.  3. We are no longer demanding the release of the Epstein and Maxwell files. Of course, by the end of October, I am sure this will be in the headline again because one of the other party will bring it up.  4. Prices. The lamestream media isn't talking about the real prices. I went ye...
