Generosity


This topic took me by surprise. As always I don't pre-plan my devotional videos. It's whatever gets laid upon my heart. I watched the new video by Tom Mills (widower of Andrea Mills) and it hit me, generosity.

Throughout the Bible, we are instructed to be generous with others. I am not talking about the "generous" donations where you get a tax write off. I am talking about you have a huge bag of cans each worth $.10. You see someone who obvious needs the money far more than you, give to them. (https://www.biblestudytools.com/topical-verses/bible-verses-about-generosity) Luke 12:33 makes clear that we should assist those who are generous with others.

I have been watching Tom Mills and I am surprised at the generosity that has been poured upon him and his children. If you are a man who has been through the same thing as Tom, please reach out to him and give the support he needs to get through this first holiday season without Andrea. Be generous with your experience. Let's all be as generous as we can be to him and his kids.

Reality Check

  This video is straightforward. There is no dancing around the bush. If you’re offended by profanity, don’t watch it.  Trump’s Certification Let’s start there. This should show people that the event in 2021 was staged chaos—nothing more. Since 2001, spontaneous access to federal government buildings has been a thing of the past. Who Gets To Run For Office?

  Have you ever wondered why some people in America are eligible to run for an office like the Senate or President, but others who might be more qualified are not ? I have been wondering about this. Let’s first examine the cost of running for a national office. Before we get started, let's look at what the base cost was to run for an office in 1915, right before the Federal Reserve was established.  The Senate seat was $2k up to but not exceeding $10k.  Presidential $5k to $10k.
