Week's Events

I am happy to say I am on the mend from the cold that knocked me for a loop. We have seen a lot happen this week. The UN started its yearly meeting.  The leader of Iran made it clear that he doesn't want US warships in his backyard.  One of the man guys in the Australian Parliament came to Washington to speak with Trump. They talked about everything but Julian Assange.  Okay, a quick recap. Julian Assange is an Australian citizen who received documents about war crimes being committed by our government which he received from Bradley Manning now Chelsea Manning.  Chelsae-Bradley is an American Citizen who took documents detailing war crimes committed by our lovely government and shared them with Wikileaks owned by Julian Assange. Julian has a history of exposing corruption in governments across the world.  He is currently in a British prison.  Putin has declared the possible end of capitalism in Russia.

Reality Check

  This video is straightforward. There is no dancing around the bush. If you’re offended by profanity, don’t watch it.  Trump’s Certification Let’s start there. This should show people that the event in 2021 was staged chaos—nothing more. Since 2001, spontaneous access to federal government buildings has been a thing of the past. Who Gets To Run For Office?

  Have you ever wondered why some people in America are eligible to run for an office like the Senate or President, but others who might be more qualified are not ? I have been wondering about this. Let’s first examine the cost of running for a national office. Before we get started, let's look at what the base cost was to run for an office in 1915, right before the Federal Reserve was established.  The Senate seat was $2k up to but not exceeding $10k.  Presidential $5k to $10k. You see the difference. The average American could afford to run before the Federal Reserve was established.  The most expensive state: Texas is hands down the most expensive state. Coming it at  $199,959,917. This is insane. It takes almost two million dollars to run for a Senate seat in Texas.  The least expensive state was a surprise, considering what it’s known for: Nevada.
