I know this sounds like a long shot but it has happened here before. Don't believe it! Never did I until the research I have done showed clearly. Executive order 6102 signed by President Roosevelt in 1933 made it illegal to "hoard gold" in any form. This order only applied to individuals like us. Not the bankers and/or government. Certainly not FDR's friends. They could hoard all the gold they wanted.
Look at the repression of gold's value in the market over the last thirty or so years. In 1974 President Ford repealed that order which made it legal for citizens to have gold. Why not? Nixon put us on the oil standard. Of course, Saudi is now running out of oil because they have pumping it nonstop since the sixties. They never thought they could run out someday. Except some of them have thought about this. They didn't diversify their portfolios. Too Bad!
Here is my theory: The price of gold and silver has purposely been suppressed. Now I know that I'm not the only one thinking this. Theory is soon, I mean very soon as in the next six to eighteen months the government will re-enact executive order 6102 making once again illegal for us to own gold. Calling it "hoarding" if you own more than one ounce. Are you going to give up your gold? It's not going to have the value you have been promised. Book of Revelations says fools will cast their gold to the streets cursing it. Okay, I am paraphrasing here. but you get a general idea. A pound of beans will feed your family and an ounce of gold with empty shelves will purchase nothing. What are these people going to do when all their gold is useless because nobody will take it. They would rather have a pound of food instead of gold.
