Merry Christmas

When y'all read this it'll be Christmas Day. Hope y'all have a wonderful day with your family. Let's take a day to remember what Christmas is supposed to be about. The birth of Jesus Christ. The son of God who would be crucified at age 32 so forgiveness of our sins. Growing up Christmas was about Christ and family. The people we are bonded to by blood and sometimes by choice. I have warm memories of Christmas dinner. My mom and I made fudge which would be a gift. Pies for Christmas. A ham in the oven, mashed potatoes, corn, green bean casserole and  my aunt would bring rolls with a relish tray. Crackers and cheese alongside chips and dip. I almost forgot deviled eggs. Breakfast was cereal. I wasn't going to fill up and miss out on the feast. I don't remember the gifts. I just don't. I remember sharing a meal with my late aunt and uncle. Every year he would start at Thanksgiving threatening to get me a drumset. I would be disappointed each year until I realiz...

Christmas Eve

What's the meal plan? Did you prepare and freeze something ahead of time? If you ordered something ahead of time I am sure you have paid for it and got the confirmation call. Be sure to leave time so you can pick it up. Oh yeah! Y'all don't forget to check the weather. Keep in mind I'm saying this now because it's so easy to get caught up in the holiday rush. I used to get wrapped up in the rush and forget little details. Now is the time to take one last look around and do some last-minute cleaning. It won't take long. After all, you scrubbed the house from top to bottom three weeks ago. Now it's just picking up the day-to-day stuff. Show Grandma around your kitchen and let her get a lay of the land. Now would be a great time to surprise her with a custom apron. Why is it custom? It has pictures of her grandchildren on it. And her great-grandchildren will be surrounding her this holiday. Here are some links to a few ideas. https://www.purewow.com/food/chri...

Christmas Eve and New Years Eve Activities for Kids

Once we have children our lives pretty much revolve around them. While it’s nice to get together with adult members of your family, kids can get into everything …. Y’all know what I am talking about. I covered this back in my pre-Thanksgiving post about activities for kids. Here are some fresh links for activities for kids to do on their own and with adults.  Our first activity which will require adult supervision is a Spinning Christmas Tree. This looks like it would be fun for the science freak in your family to do with kids. Beth does have printables as well.  Beth Gorden https://www.123homeschool4me.com/dancing-science-project_4/ Paper snowflakes! This is always a favorite. I used to do this in elementary school. I am sure a lot of people did. Here is a site that gives directions and patterns you can print off.  Paper Snowflakes https://www.itsalwaysautumn.com/cut-snowflake-video-tutorial-free-templates.html Here’s one last link. While most teens will keep them...

Countdown to Christmas and New Year's Day

Here we go y'all. Countdown to Christmas. Each week we will look at what we can be doing to prepare our homes for Christmas then New Year's Day. Yeah! We are going to cover both. We are going to cover everything just like Thanksgiving. Cleaning and Extra Preparations One week out from Christmas here's what we can do. Time to tackle the guest rooms if you will be having guests. And don't forget your living room, kitchen, and public bathroom.  Meal Planning and Christmas Eve Now is the time to decide what you will do for Christmas Eve. Will you cook a full meal or will you do what most people will? Order out because you are going to be busy on Christmas day. If eating a catered meal is your plan, great. I'm sure if you order now you could get a great deal. Don't forget coupons. Of course, you could take this weekend to meal prep. Yep! Through planning ahead you could get a lot of your cooking done. If you're in charge of side dishes and a...

Cleaning Two weeks out from Christmas here's what we can do. Scrub your home from top to bottom. Seriously! Move furniture and scrub baseboards. Below is a link to a free printable list. I'm giving you this link because there's no signing up for emails and we have that annoying relative who comes into a house looking for the slightest bit of dust. My late Uncle Gary was like that. No, I didn't snap and kill him. His heart gave out under the pressure of his weight. Link: https://thecrazycraftlady.com/holiday-cleaning-checklist/ Menu plan for Christmas. (If you come from a family who doesn't cook or bake now would be a great time to put in your order for Christmas dinner. A lot of stores are going to be selling meal deals accord...

Food Shortages, Again

Here's something to think about. Stores like Walmart are now selling survival foods like Augason Farms packages. They have been selling survival gear for years. It is promoted as "Camping Gear". I suppose that sounds more appealing. You since the media have branded survivalists as crazy. Doomsday preppers was a show on the History channel about ten or so years ago. Most people were reasonable. Preparing for a total financial collapse. Of course, the 'experts' the History channel talked to rated it highly unlikely. You know that the History channel absolutely shared the names of their 'experts'. Not! They never released the names of their so-called experts. The show made preppers look crazy. But that's what it was supposed to do. I don't see those experts laughing now. Do you? The food shortage problem isn't just an American problem. As you'll see in the article from RT, Russians are starting to see shortages. They've not seen shortage...

Decorate Three weeks out from Christmas here's what we can do. Decorate your home. We have a small apartment so we are limited in what we can do. Below is a link to start getting ideas.   Link: http://www.goldenboysandme.com/2016/12/holiday-house-walk-2016.html?m=1 Menu plan for Christmas. Have you decided what your Christmas dinner is going to look like. Will you do the cooking? Why not potluck it out? Have everyone who's a great cook/baker bring the speciality. Also, what traditional dishes do you always have on your table. We always had ham. Mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, carrots and corn. Of course, there was rolls as well.  Links: https://www.creativegreenliving.com/2015/12/ultimate-christmas-dinner-recipe-list-best-sides.htm...

Channel Updates and Quick Chat

Until I fully recover from COVID-19, I will be doing one video a week. Unless something major happens then I will do a short. Because hey we all have an opinion and I might as well air mine.  There is a new variant in South Africa and some countries are already having outbreaks of it. Omnicron is what it has been named. I didn’t choose that name nor would I because it sounds like a Transformer. Let’s look at the timing. We are going into December when most people celebrate Hanukkah and Christmas. So why into a lockdown now? Why not wait? Keep in mind that our current presidential puppet’s office has said no to a lockdown here in America. So did the last one. Then two weeks later we were locked down. Our economy is in pieces. Society is going to hell in a handbasket. What is there to gain by locking down a country? That is the question we should be asking. The answer: complete control over the population. That is really the only thing to be gained by a government. As I said a...

Homemakers Essential: Delegation

This is the hardest skill a homemaker must learn. We aren’t just homemakers we are moms (or dads). Also, we are spouses. Usually, the homemaking is on us and we take it on willingly. However, there comes a time when we have to delegate tasks to other members of our house. I have had to do this while I have been trying to kick this COVID-19. Which by the way, I still have. That means I have had to delegate more tasks to my 18-year daughter which has zero experience in homemaking.  This is difficult. Why? Because no matter how they try, the other loving members of our home won’t do things the way we do. They haven’t taken the time to develop the routines that we have. We have a system or method to our madness. What am I talking about? Okay, I have a pet peeve: dirty dishes in the sink when I get up in the morning. (That is a long and very personal story.) My daughter doesn’t do dishes at the end of the night all the time. Sometimes she is too tired to stand. We don’t have a di...

'A New Deadly Variant'

Here we go again. "A deadly variant" of COVID-19 has emerged in South Africa. Seriously! Africa produces a lot of stuff. Chocolate, diamonds, drugs, re-emerging slave trade, and terrorist. That alone tells me they are busy. They don't have time for a variant.  Now let's look at the timing of this new evil variant. We are a month away from Christmas which is celebrated on pretty much every continent. Australia is using some insanely harsh lockdowns again. We have seen many of the solutions from Event 201 being used across the world. America included. And there are many exercises about Smallpox and how it would affect the population. Without a doubt lockdowns are going to be done in America again. There was an article in which the White House representative came and said this wasn't an option being considered. Of course, that's what the last administration said. Two weeks later they did exactly that. How far can we trust any American administration? Not at all. ...

What Will You Do?

How are you going to handle your child crying in hunger? Are you prepared to tell your child 'I am sorry I don't have anything for you'? Countries like Venezuela and Argentina have gotten used to super hyper inflation. That's when your fiat currency loses its value to the point it takes a week's wages to eat one day's worth of calories. Venezuela has been in this boat for over a decade because their government got tunnel vision with the money oil was bringing in. Hugo Chavez focused so much on the oil revenue that he let the agriculture sector slide into disrepair. Lebanon has entered the same field as Argentina. The currency's value is going to hell in a handbasket.  People in the UK are seeing some strange things happen. Aisles being rearranged completely. I am not talking about the usual move stuff so the peasants spend more. No! I am talking about a beer display where candy bars should be. Shelves removed to make a cereal section bigger. I have seen this...

Food Shortages and Inflation

Here we go again y'all. Point your finger at everything and everyone just don't take responsibility for the situation with shortages. Truth is, shortages happen because of poor planning by governments. This is why I say governments are useless. Complete waste of time. Look, these are the puppets that cause so much misery. I suppose it's a good thing they are good at this.  There were an abundance of farms here in America back in the 1940s and forward. Many of these farms came out of the Depression. During the Great Depression there were shortages across the country. Many people survived the Depression by growing their own food. Also, they kept their expectations in check. I can remember my late Grams could make a meal out of anything she had. She and her second husband had a nice garden till they couldn't do it anymore. Just know that was when he passed away. Grandpa Joe took care of the garden and Grams canned everything that was grown.  Products like hot dogs were on ...

Attack on Iraq

Over the weekend there was an attack on Iraq's Prime Minister. The facts are unknown right now. But I have no doubt that one of the following are involved: North Korea       Iran Venezuela           China Russia                 Bananas Now that I got my sarcasm out of the way, this isn't good. I am not talking about someone taking time to plan and try to execute a western puppet politician. I am referring to the fact that it'll be used as an excuse to keep our military in the unstable Middle East. Nevermind we are the reason it's unstable.  It turns out that one of our defense systems didn't work. I guess they should've put Biden's ass up to the machine. He seems to have plenty of gas. Just ask Dutchess Camellia, I'm sure she can vouch for his gas levels.  I don't see this going anywhere good. My guess it'll end one of two ways: We stay in Iraq even though they have voted to have us leave over a ye...

MYOTO: Chinese Cuisine

I want to be completely honest with y'all. Last night I took a friend to the emergency room because she was sick. About 1:30 in the morning we got her diagnosis COVID-19. Yeah! She knew there was a chance she had it and still came over and exposed us to it. Not just us, but neighbors who have major health problems. One has had heart problems and the other is on dialysis for her kidneys. We arell weighing on the side of caution. I am very familiar with what governments are capable of doing. So we are treating this as if it's the real thing. I just came across this article on Chinese Take Out dishes we can make at home. Awesome! I look forward to making them. I'll have time on my hands now.  If you go for a healthy diet then there's at least 20 dishes that are heavy on the veggies. Like the deconstructed egg roll pan. It's everything you love about egg rolls without the fat from fried wrappers. I am looking forward to the fried rice dishes. And pepper chicken. It'...

Biden's New Reality

According to Biden, America is turning the corner. Wages are outpacing inflation and essential things like food are going down. Things are improving dramatically. They'd be better if OPEC countries would send more fuels.  First, the only thing going down in this country are hookers…. Second, the wages are so great that people are resigning. The others are daydreaming about being able to resign. Third, last week I witnessed dozens of eggs go up two cents in two or three days. But sure, every day I wake and think 'if those damn OPEC countries would just send more fuel here.' We'd be able to empty the containers, products on the shelves in our stores, and Dorthy will tap her heels to wake on Rodeo Drive.  For those of you who have been reading this blog know I tend to be sarcastic at times. This is one of them. The idea that Biden and his merry band of lunatics believe this bullshit is mind boggling. It's almost as stupid as Qnon people believing Trump is going to be r...

Homemaker Essentials: Meal Planning Tips

Here is a confession: I have fallen off the meal planning train. Yeah! Ever since September, I had dental work done, I have fallen off of the meal planning train. Oh! I know it saves money and time. Boy talk about convenience. It’s awesome to know what you are cooking for dinner each night. Yet I fell off of the train. We are going to get back on that train. I am going to share some resources that I hope will help us get back on track.  DON’T SHOP HUNGRY! This is key to sticking to your budget while at the store. Know what is in your kitchen. Take time to inventory what you have and know what your family likes. Take it a week at a time when you are getting back on track or just starting. These are the tips I am going to implement in my meal planning.  https://youtu.be/qPBYoG9m9YE

COVID-19: THE GREAT RESET By: Klaus Schwab and Thierry Mallerate

Personal Reset Right off the bat, they blame the scam-demic for the isolation of many across the world. WRONG! It's governments who are to blame for the situation we (you and I) are living through. We're going into two years in  January. People across the globe are waking up and getting angry. There's been protests in England, Australia, and France just to name three countries. America not so much. As long as we can juggle part-time jobs so they can struggle to make ends meet they are happy. Right! 3.1 Redefining our humanness 3.1.1. The better angels in our nature...or not. In this section, they bitch and moan like little children about those in each nation's citizens bonding together. Those who showed contempt toward the leaders and wealthy, turning the direction they should turn; Jesus. (Celebrities found out how irrelevant they really are.) The Holy Son of God our Father in Heaven. Klaus Schwab and Thierry Malleret speak with such disgust about that fact. Humans n...

China Encouraging Citizens to Stockpile Food

On Monday afternoon the Chinese government announced that the citizens should start stockpiling food. WHAT!!!! Oh wow! In 2020 they did the opposite. The Chinese government went as far as wielding their citizens in apartments. As for food, that was rationed out. It seems like the Chinese government learned from last year. Unlike our government and others around the world.  With all honesty, the government of Australia is going so far as to confiscate money and property of those who refuse to comply with the authoritarian mandates. This does concern me. How long till the American government starts to do the same. Make no mistake, in the 1930s President Franklin Roosevelt ordered that people turn in their gold so the Great Depression can be relieved. See how that was done. Citizens were told that turning in their gold would help the nation. It was the "Patriotic" thing to do. Just like now we are being told that it's "Patriotic" to take a useless vaccine. If you a...

Labor Shortage to End and Thanksgiving Feast to Shrink

Here we go again y'all. We have two journalists for financial magazines saying the labor shortage will end soon. According to Ben Winck from Business Insider expects a hiring free for all to happen after the New Year. However, CNBC Financial genius Eric Rosenbaum makes it clear that the Apple Chip shortage is ending, but the supply chain of goods following in from China to the US is a train wreck. Yet according to John Matarese with a Denver ABC affiliate station there may be a few items not on your Thanksgiving table this year. Why? Labor shortage. So are we turning a corner or not? These new round of manipulation can make you head spin. Let's break it down. It's true that more people started leaving their miserable jobs behind starting back in September. Also, let's look at the scam numbers that two of the geniuses are using for employment numbers. If you are unemployed but looking, you're considered employed. If you are unemployed and doing odd jobs, you're c...

Hoover Announces Thanksgiving and First Lady Roosevelt Guides People with Department of Home Economics

During the Great Depression, President Hoover announced a national Thanksgiving to be celebrated by everyone. At the Department of Home Economics to be First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt was guiding Americans through the hard times. Someone please hand me a tissue. I'm getting misty eyed. Yeah!  With all honesty, I had to set my phone down because I thought my head was going to explode with the arrogance of these two. The money masters and Hoover create a problem and the future First Lady guides America through it. Let that reality sink in. If they weren't already dead, I'd beat the dog hell out of them with a Jello mold and roasting pan.  The article talks about an Aunt Sammy who offered recipes and help to those in need. One crazy thing is 'Mock Duck'. It's made with beef wrapped around Chestnut Dressing. Cream of onions, no joke y'all. That's actually a dish. According to the article a turkey then cost $5.50. I know right. So cheap. Except it's not. The...

Kroger's This Week

This week got away from me. Tuesday we got Antonia's FSFA done. Then Friday was her campus tour. The starting college is going to be wonderful. It was refreshing to see her so happy. This week's Kroger walk through held some improvements. I was happy to see these. However, they were only on the  surface. As you see with the Frosted Flakes Cereal.  The frozen breakfast cases were almost bare. However, if you desire to have freezer meals for breakfast in your freezer, don't sweat it. Here is a list of some YouTube moms I watch and they do freezer meals like nobody's business.  Amy Maryon - mom of ten can do freezer meals to feed a crew. Jamerrill Stewart - mom of nine has you covered. She has meal packs in her shop which contains directions for feeding a crew. Both large and small.  Kimmie Hughes - Kimmie is a mom of four. She's In Her Apron has been a favorite of mine for some time now. Each one of these ladies bring a lot of knowledge and experience at cooking and f...

Born Consumers

Americans are born and raised in shopping malls. Seriously! You can see folks pushing strollers from store to store everyday of the week. Look out for the weekend. Mercy me. You can't take two steps without tripping over a stroller. George Carlin solved the dilemma of voting by staying home and I likewise have solved the stroller issue, avoiding the mall. Don't get me going on the food courts in these malls. Again, George Carlin covered it perfectly. Americans are going to face a dilemma this year. Especially if you tend to procrastinate on your Christmas shopping. You may not find anything. I already have the items for my daughter. That's it. I will get the cat and dog a little gift, and that is the end. Everyone else will get fudge, cookies, and jam. Yes, I need my jars back. I do this with people that I know I'll get them back. And I do have one person I don't give to because she's too damn picky and I don't do gift cards. You take what's offered or y...

Just Random Thoughts

Here is this week's random thoughts. I have included pictures from the Great Depression. History is repeating itself right before our eyes. During the twenties people bought into the stock market that never would have prior to WW I. After WW I we had the buy now pay later system start and it exploded. Your middle class was buying stocks on margin. Meaning they put up a fraction of the cost for a stock and then a broker paid the rest. If a stock cost fifty dollars the individual would pay twenty-five and the broker paid the other twenty-five. This repeated until the margin was so high that the broker and the client made a nice little profit. However, in the case where the stock lost money the client would have to pay an extra bit of money or loss their profit to the broker. It was a nice little scam. Many brokers made millions doing that.  Then came the Great Depression. As usual, the White House wouldn't acknowledge there was a problem. Kind of like now. They admit there's...

Just Random Thoughts

Here are just some things to think about going into the winter. Rising prices and Karma are here to stay. The cost of gas in my area has gone up ten cents in a week. Many nations in Europe are facing the possibility of running out of fuel to heat homes. They will have a beautiful view as they leave this world. China has ordered industrial plants to limit the use of power. They are supposed to be the forward thinkers. The Chinese are supposed to be the ones thinking clearly. So much for that. We need to take time to prepare for this winter because it could be long dark and cold winter. https://youtu.be/7mg17FnHubs

Government Shutdown

This is just a brief video on my thoughts about the panic buying and government shutdown threat. Let it close. I would love to see these arrogant asses run around frantically trying to figure out how to meet the needs of their families and pay bills without a source of income. And spoiler alert: Most Americans don't have a multi-million dollar family inheritance. https://youtu.be/bjtb53hdx0Q
