Sometimes it can take a lot of time to find your voice. Recently I came across a video by Homesteading Tessie and she was talking about how YouTube has helped her find her voice.
This is a wonderful thing this social media does have to offer. People who haven't found their voice in their day-to-day life have found their voice on social media. I am one of those people. Over the last three almost four years of doing videos and blogs I have found my voice.
More than that is I found my connection to my faith. For two years I was lost. From watching and listening to Jacob Israel and Steven at Israeli News Live I have found my faith in Heavenly Father and his Holy Son Jesus Christ again.
Throughout my life, people around me would just ignore my voice or tell me "kids are to be seen and not heard". Yeah! So now I have found my voice and I won't let anyone or comment take it from me again.
If you feel compelled to say something negative about someone, ask yourself why you feel this way. In the past, I have been that person who felt compelled to say something negative about someone else online. I stopped and asked myself why I felt that way, it was my own insecurity.
At 46 I have figured out what made me pessimistic. I had no voice. I now have found my voice.
