The idea that this government wants to take over Venezuela's government when they can't even keep our government open. The hypocrisy. I came across this article and thought my head would explode. Seriously hasn't Washington DC done enough to the people of this country? Apparently not.
This is stupid beyond words. On top of this, you have longtime allies of Venezuela cutting ties with them out of fear of sanctions. Paraguay is that country. Don't think Maduro is a fool. Not by any means. You don't get to the top of the ladder by being an idiot. Maduro is well aware that Washington DC is considering killing him.
Let's look at Syria. The plan was to go in and kill him then take the oil which lays East of the Euphrates. So we have Saddam, Gadhaffi, and no one knows where Mubarak is. They are dead over what? No one really knows. Maduro knows they are going to come after him.
Another thing let's look at is the fact Venezuela's Socialist government has seen many ups and downs. They have seen booms and bust just like our government has. The difference is that well nothing. Their government is full of greedy parasites and so is ours. During the late 90s and early 2000s, the oil was flowing like wine. The people were benefiting greatly. Have we benefited from the oil our nation has from our nation as a nation? No, Only one state.
Truth is there is nothing ironic or funny about the situation we are in. We have contributed to it by ignoring it. "Maybe it's better if we don't know what the government is up to". Every time I hear this, I just want to scream. This mentality is how our government got to the point it's out of our control. So the idea they want to overturn Venezuela's government and put their own puppets in is laughable.
