Time to discuss the food shortages that are coming our way and what big Agri giants like Tyson are doing about it.  First, let’s talk about the effects this insane weather is having on cattle.  Anyway, these sales are for the area of Southeast Michigan where we live. Remember to stock up on items you could barter with in a SHTIF situation. These should be items you and your family aren’t that crazy about eating. Aldi’s Aldi’s is starting out strong with baby carrots at $.79 a bag and celery at $.99 each bunch. Kirkwood Chicken wings either bbq or buffalo flavored are $4.99. These three things go great together. Their take and bake pizzas are $4.99 with a variety of toppings. Chips are $.99 per bag. Their chips are good. Appetizers are $1.79 for the cheese sticks or stuffed jalapeno. Deli salsas are $1.99 each. Emporium Selection Fresh Mozzarella Ball or Pre-Sliced Log $2.39 each. First of all, please accept my apology with the title. I knew if I titled this post CoronaVirus PN 10130701 the algorithms would pick it up and flag it. Here is the simple truth. There is a patent for it through the Pirbright Institute. It was applied for on July 23, 2015. The patent was approved and issued in 2018. What does this mean? During the Great Depression, many men were unemployed and it took a toll on their self-esteem. Programs like the Civil Conservation Corps (CCC) helped to restore their self-esteem. These young men found work and a purpose in life again. Many of them went into these programs as young boys and grew at the camps into men when they left. They were taught to read if they couldn't read when they arrived. Those who had to drop out of school got their high school diploma. There was a young man who spent 2 1/2 years in the CCC then left to find work. He ended up rejoining the CCC in Idaho where he made many roads through parks and fought wildfires. And there was the many who found life in the camp so appealing that they joined the military and served in WW II. There was another program as well called the Worker Program Administration. Our favorite thing at Burger King is their chicken sandwich. It is simple and delicious. Here is how to make it at home.  Chicken Patty: If you bread your own patties this is where you want to follow your recipe. If you buy a store brand, use it.  Bun: Use whatever buns your family likes. Dress them with mayo and lettuce. Once the patties are done place them on the bun and dig in. Over the last few weeks, we have seen one incident after another of our government behaving like fascist psychopaths. So we are going to strip away all of the propaganda and bullshit from this form of governing. My favorite item at Taco Bell is the Mexican Pizza. The crisp tortilla shells with the beans and beef on the first one. The sauce and cheese on the second tortilla. YUM! However, what I don’t like is the fat in it. So here is a lighter version you can make at home. If you live in the North as we do, you don’t always want to get out in the snow, ice, and bone biting cold. Here are the directions. Mexican Pizza 2 tortillas Refried beans - use your families favorite version. Leftover ground beef if you are using it. Taco sauce your family likes. Cheese to your families liking.  Take one tortilla and lay it on whatever you will be cooking it on. Place about a ½ cup of meat to beans. Put a little bit of cheese. Place the second tortilla on top and put about ¼ cup of sauce. Spread it around and cover with cheese.  Place in oven then let it cook until the cheese is melted and the edges are toasted.  Enjoy with whatever toppings you and your family enjoy! ...
