Winter Reading List

Winter Reading List

I hope y’all had a wonderful holiday season and you’re ready for tomorrow because it’s back to the grindstone. Over the last two weeks, I have been working on my reading list. Actually, reading my way through it. Let’s talk about the reason for my choices. We have been told for years to shame anyone who spoke of Communism and/or Socialism with a favorable tune. Why? They are bad. They don’t work. They enslave people. To a point these are right. There have been people come into leadership in countries like Russia who had a serious ax to grind with a government.  They eventually take it out on the very people who helped them come to power. IE Stalin. His dad was an alcoholic and he was abusive to Stalin along with his mom. Lenin’s older brother tried to start a revolution, that Lenin would carry out, and tried to kill the Czar. His brother was hung for his trouble. More of Sasha refused to apologize and beg for mercy. Anyway, if anyone had tried to tell me as a kid that Communists taught people who were Russian Serfs how to read, I would have laughed at them and walked away. Turns out that is true.

UN Legitimate and Two Illegitimate Speakers

This was a freakshow of a week…. I actually did a whole layout here and accidentally deleted it. OMG. I realize this week was crazy, but holy shit! This is what it did. So here’s a quick recap before I have a completely psychotic break.  Trump entered the UN building with the same level of disaster he entered the world with. The safety feature that will prevent someone carrying a ‘nasty surprise’ from entering the top level of the escalator. That still leaves the elevators. The teleprompter stopped working. That was it, there’s a conspiracy. He did what any brain-dead American would do: whine and bitch. His almost hour-long tirade ended by telling other nations they will go to hell. I guess there will be a family reunion.  Netanyahu went to speak, and it’s a good thing that there were influencers paid to be there; otherwise, why on earth would anybody subject themselves to Netanyahu’s incoherent nonsense after Trump is beyond me. Netenhahu finished last week by threatening Chi...

Who is Ahmed al-Sharaa?

Ahmed was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Wait! What was that???? Born in Saudi Arabia…. How the hell did he get to be president of Syria? A country that he isn’t even a citizen of? That is as insane as Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announcing he is going to be the president of America. Actually, I would welcome that. Since he is obviously smarter than any American Political puppet. At least we would be able to have our Christian values protected. There wouldn’t be an abortion clinic on every city block. And the sexualization of children would come to a dead stop. Veterans would be better cared for under Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. However, that will never happen, but I think you get how insane that is. I found that you have to be a natural-born citizen of Syria to be president of Syria.  Ahmed al-Sharaa was a member of Al Qaeda. You remember the pack of terrorists who attacked us on 9/11/. My question is, why is Al-Qaeda allowed to exist if they were involved in 9/11? ...

Feeling Ignored

I didn't mean to ignore this site. I have been busy with the government shutdown, and I have to say, what a freak show. Let's break this down: 1. There is a budget. Once it's clear that we won't tolerate the freak show any longer, the budget will be put in front of us. Of course, it won't have an accurate date. The date it was actually signed.  2. What are we currently focused on? The shutdown. We are looking at the fact that Israel is attacking Iran, again, for having the very same thing they have: nuclear weapons. We also have nuclear weapons in America. We also have a nasty habit of using weapons of mass destruction. Dioxin was used in Vietnam; it was later called Agent Orange.  3. We are no longer demanding the release of the Epstein and Maxwell files. Of course, by the end of October, I am sure this will be in the headline again because one of the other party will bring it up.  4. Prices. The lamestream media isn't talking about the real prices. I went ye...
