Anyway, these sales are for the area of Southeast Michigan where we live. Remember to stock up on items you could barter with in a SHTIF situation. These should be items you and your family aren’t that crazy about eating.
Aldi’s
This week they have mangos for $.49 each. Their Fusion line of Asian foods is on sale. They’re not that bad the bottled sauces are good. The rice and noodle packs are $.89 each and they aren’t that bad. Their Asian Fusion broths are good. They are as good as any name brand and at $1.79 for 32 oz that is a good deal. There are other items like a set of bamboo cutting boards that look really nice at $7.99. A rice maker that cost $12.99 I think you could use your electric pressure cooker to do this. Just set for rice.
Kroger
Kroger is coming in strong with their sale on a variety of apples at $.97 a pound with your card. So you could take one of each. Their digital sale for Friday and Saturday has their brand of chicken breast at $4.99 with a card. Whole pork butt is $.99 a pound. That is great. Kroger has started selling side items with recommended meats. Such as they have two sirloin steaks at $4.99 with a 5-pound bag of potatoes $1.99. This is a great idea and will get products moving.
Meijer
Meijer has their 10/$10 with the 11th item free. You can get bell peppers. Oh yeah! We are going there this evening. This applies to 1,500 items in the grocery area. They even have their hot grab and go containers of popcorn shrimp or chicken for a $1.00. Antonia is going to love this. Also, they have Valentine candy for $1.00.
Wal-Mart
Wal-Mart has Chef Boyardee Spaghetti & Meatballs for sale at $.89 a can. Their brand of tuna is $.92 a pouch. And that’s where it stops. Sorry!
