Here is how I make this wonderful treat.
Make your tea the way you usually do but do a larger batch. Once your tea is done concentrate it down as much as possible. Then it becomes a syrup. At this point, you can start canning it up.
Remember:
1. Hot food in hot jars. So have your jars in whatever you plan to water bath or steam can this in.
2. Use a towel and vinegar to clean the reams off. This has sugar in it and the sugar can keep it from sealing.
3. Let the jars sit overnight and check them to make sure they are sealed.
Then enjoy as you want it.
1 pint to a half-gallon
1 quart to a gallon
