Changes To A Grocer Near You

This is a quick video interview with my daughter who works as a courtesy clerk. There have been many changes in the store where she works. The video will explain all of them. 
No! She isn’t on camera that’s two reasons. 1. She’s under 18. 2. She’s not comfortable with the camera. Antonia does understand my desire to share information with y’all and have y’all share information with me. 

And yes, Sarge is raising hell with the cat. #lifewithpets

Reality Check

Who Gets To Run For Office?

  Have you ever wondered why some people in America are eligible to run for an office like the Senate or President, but others who might be more qualified are not ? I have been wondering about this. Let’s first examine the cost of running for a national office. Before we get started, let's look at what the base cost was to run for an office in 1915, right before the Federal Reserve was established.  The Senate seat was $2k up to but not exceeding $10k.  Presidential $5k to $10k. You see the difference. The average American could afford to run before the Federal Reserve was established.  The most expensive state: Texas is hands down the most expensive state.
