Wednesday Kim Kardashian-West was at the White House to taking about pardoning Alice Johnson. Alice Johnson has served 20 years for a first non-violent drug offense. Okay, I agree with Kim. We need to reform our prison system. When people can serve 20 years from a first offense instead of probation tells me two things, one Alice Johnson is Black, and the second, we seriously need to reform our system. When someone can serve 20 years for a non-violent drug offense and a repeat offender only gets three years for a domestic violence-related crime, there are serious problems. The majority of people who are murdered is killed by a former partner/spouse. Now, let's get to the people who should never have a comfortable day in prison ever... Pedophiles! I just got done reading the book Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. It was frightening to see how much stuff he wrote about in the 1930's is actually coming true. He wrote about how children would be sexualized. They are. We see it every day and every time we turn around. From a celebrity wanting to set up a hookup service for sexy kids.  To a celebrity making sexy clothing lines for kids. Disgusting! Another prophecy he had was about the style of governing. We all have our kids that we love with our whole heart. Even when they are a pain in the butt. My daughter is 15 going on 16. She doesn't understand that she needs to start planning for her future other than living with mom. We are going to be buying a house that will eventually be hers and her family's. I will move on in an RV and travel the country reporting on events going on here at home. I do hope she has her kids so she can experience the joys of parenting of talking to a teenager about their future. Every child should experience the joys of parenting. Trying to talk to a teenager. These have to be the most childish forms of political reprisal on earth. We have seen the last two administrations alone in act more sanctions than any other president in our history. Have they worked? No, I would have to say no. First of all, they aren't aimed at the right direction for them to be effective. I have spent this afternoon watching a video series I came across called Gulag. It is a three-part series. Something in the first one really stood out to me. They offer second chance mortgages for people who have been through the ringer. Once my score is at 580 later this year I can apply and more than likely get a mortgage. I am not an expert by any means. I do remember when the Iran deal was announced and Obama sent billions to Iran after our sailors were captured by Iran Military.  Of course, we have had Oliver North come out and say "All Iranians are liars". Says the guy who got caught lying to Congress.  Anyway, I don't believe Iran is lying about their Atomic program. Surely, trying to build a nuclear bomb can be tricky. Perhaps in 2003, it became clear that it was more trouble than it was worth. They abandoned the program in 2003. So it was a little strange that they were given billions for a program they had abandoned. Is me or does it seem like we are getting screwed here? I am pleased to hear that Kim Un is releasing 3 American Prisoners. This is without a doubt a step in the right direction. By no means should he give up his nukes? Last week Senator Sanders made a speech about guaranteed full-time employment with benefits. Of course, people at FOX Business acted like it was the most horrible thing they had ever heard.
