I just saw on RT where Mr. Skripal has been released from the hospital. President has expressed his joy in knowing that the former double agent (traitor) will be okay...
Now let's look at some inconvenient truths about this situation.
1. According to President Putin in an article, I referred to above, had Novichok been used on March 4 when Mr. Skripal "was poisoned" he would've died immediately.
2. Russia had Mr. Skripal in prison for four years. So if they really wanted him dead, he would've had an "accident" while in prison. I put accident in quotations because he death would've been written off as an accident or inmate on inmate violence.
3. Mr. Skripal had outlived his usefulness to the British Intelligence. There's an oxymoron for you...
4. Russia no longer saw Mr. Skripal as a security threat. Everything he knew was related to the communist government.
So, who had the most to gain from this "poisoning"? Mr. Skripal wasn't a threat to Russia, so that rules them out. However, he had one last use to England, a "poisoning" victim of Russia. What do you think?
