Iran Deal

I am not an expert by any means. I do remember when the Iran deal was announced and Obama sent billions to Iran after our sailors were captured by Iran Military.  Of course, we have had Oliver North come out and say "All Iranians are liars". Says the guy who got caught lying to Congress. 

Anyway, I don't believe Iran is lying about their Atomic program. Surely, trying to build a nuclear bomb can be tricky. Perhaps in 2003, it became clear that it was more trouble than it was worth. They abandoned the program in 2003. So it was a little strange that they were given billions for a program they had abandoned. Is me or does it seem like we are getting screwed here? Or have we just gotten so used to the nonsense that we don't think about it anymore?

Who Gets To Run For Office?

  Have you ever wondered why some people in America are eligible to run for an office like the Senate or President, but others who might be more qualified are not ? I have been wondering about this. Let’s first examine the cost of running for a national office. Before we get started, let's look at what the base cost was to run for an office in 1915, right before the Federal Reserve was established.  The Senate seat was $2k up to but not exceeding $10k.  Presidential $5k to $10k.
