How Sanctions Work

Last week Trump threated the heaviest sanctions ever on Iran... Now Ukraine has threatened sanctions on Russia.
I am sure these arrogant fools have forgotten a critical matter in enforcing sanctions. So let's review the process:
  1. Go to the United Nations Security Council and present a valid case for your sanctions. No bullshit or powerpoint presentations welcomed. 
  2. Answer all questions from the members of the council.
  3. Wait for a vote and hope you made a good case. No storming out like Nikki Haley.
  4. If needed appeal your case. And you may inquire about the reasons behind the votes. 
That is simple right. To get internationally recognized sanctions that the world will be forced to abide by. It doesn't matter how many sanctions an independent country puts against another independent country. You might as well be throwing rotten apples at the wall. You can ask other nations to boycott certain companies and refuse to take their products into your country. If you want riots.
Speaking of rotten, apparently, Benghazi Butcher wants to run Facebook. So she loses the presidential bid, and Facebook is the next best thing. Facebook the new consolation prize. There is some truth there.

Who Gets To Run For Office?

  Have you ever wondered why some people in America are eligible to run for an office like the Senate or President, but others who might be more qualified are not ? I have been wondering about this. Let’s first examine the cost of running for a national office. Before we get started, let's look at what the base cost was to run for an office in 1915, right before the Federal Reserve was established.  The Senate seat was $2k up to but not exceeding $10k.  Presidential $5k to $10k.
